Our sports partnership with Pfitzenmeier, the largest provider of studios for fitness and wellness in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region

During the official welcome ceremony for the new sports scholarship holders on November 5, 2018, we were able to announce that all sports scholarship holders can now train free of charge in the Pfitzenmeier gyms. This great improvement is made possible by a joint sports partnership.
In the course of the welcoming ceremony, the sponsors (Klaus Greinert as well as the Dietmar Hopp Foundation, represented by Henrik Westerberg) were pleased and thanked Alexander Pfitzenmeier (picture above, center) for this great, additional training opportunity for the scholarship holders. Alexander Pfitzenmeier already handed over symbolic membership cards to the scholarship holders at the event.

For the scholarship holders, this form of support opens up completely new possibilities. A large number of studios around the universities, in the city center but also in outlying districts of Mannheim and Heidelberg, shorten travel times and reduce costs. In addition, Pfitzenmeier studios offer an enormous range of training options: from equipment to open training areas, from dumbbells to barbells, from courses to individual training - everything is possible here. In addition, regeneration is one of the keys to success in most sports. The regeneration offer is as versatile and high-quality as the training possibilities of the Pfitzenmeier studios. From now on, it will also be possible for the scholarship holders to take advantage of these extensive opportunities and incorporate them into their daily training routine.
