THE ELITE SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP RHINE-NECKAR METROPOLITAN REGION

The unique sports scholarship in Germany supports active competitive athletes during their Bachelor's or Master's degree course. The promotion of the dual career consists of organizational and financial support and is available at the University of Mannheim, the University of Heidelberg, Mannheim Business School, DHBW Heilbronn, DHBW CAS, Heilbronn University of Applied Sciences and TU Mรผnchen Campus Heilbronn.

OUR SERVICES AND REQUIREMENTS

Since its foundation in 2009, the sports scholarship has already supported over 300 active competitive athletes in achieving their maximum sporting and study goals.

The scholarship thus offers optimal conditions, which were previously only known in this form from sports scholarships in the USA, and represents the perfect alternative or supplement for

elite athletes with a desire to study at the sports support groups of the German Armed Forces and the German Federal Police.

In addition, the scholarship gives (squad) athletes security on their way to graduation, and enables contact and exchange with other athletes from various sports.

This compensation for disadvantages eases the double burden of study and elite-level sport for competitive athletes compared to those who are not from high-performance sport.

Whether soccer, athletics or swimming, all competitive athletes from the:

  • National team (Olympic squad (A squad)),
  • Perspective squad (B squad)
  • Junior squad 1 (C squad)
  • Junior squad 2 (DC Squad)
